Sigma Defense is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer with a strong background in Kubernetes, Linux, Infrastructure as Code, and Networking to fill a new position in a growing team.
The role involves bringing modern software practices to development and production environments in the Department of Defense.
The ideal candidate is preferably located in Charleston, SC.
The position requires 2-5 years of prior information assurance experience.
Candidates should have experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Linux, Helm, and Flux.
The candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher, with clearance sponsorship available for the right candidate.
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a similar field of study is required, although the degree may be substituted for comparable additional industry experience and/or industry standard training and certification.
Essential job duties include working on a team to create Infrastructure as Code to manage ingress into the environment and developing pipelines and processes that implement containerized RMF (Risk Management Framework) processes.
The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $149,000 annually.
