The position is for a Senior Shopify Plus Full-Stack Engineer at a fast-growing wellness brand focused on making high-quality, science-backed supplements accessible to families.
This is a full-time role that is 100% remote, with working hours aligned to the US Timezone (PT).
The engineer will lead the architecture, development, and optimization of the Shopify Plus storefront and checkout.
Responsibilities include owning the technical architecture, building and maintaining custom Shopify apps, developing integrations with the Amazon SP-API for inventory synchronization, and optimizing site speed and performance.
The role requires collaboration with Product, Marketing, Design, and Operations teams to launch new features and campaigns.
The engineer will also provide technical leadership, guide best practices in e-commerce engineering, and ensure code stability and reliability through testing and maintenance.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience, with deep expertise in Shopify Plus.
A strong command of Liquid, Hydrogen, React, Node.js, and Shopify APIs is required.
Familiarity with the Amazon SP-API or other complex marketplace integrations is necessary.
Prior experience in developing production-grade e-commerce systems is essential.
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and architectural skills are required.
A passion for clean code, robust testing, and creating great user experiences is important.
Proficiency with Git and modern development workflows is necessary.
