The role involves building world-class ecommerce experiences on Shopify and headless stacks, collaborating with cross-functional teams to create high-converting pages and impactful features.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining scalable front-end features, evolving component libraries, delivering responsive UIs, enhancing page speed and site structure, implementing A/B testing, and integrating APIs with backend engineers.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in front-end development, preferably in a fast-paced DTC ecommerce environment.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS/SASS, JavaScript, and React (or similar frameworks) is required.
Hands-on experience with Shopify, Liquid templates, and Shopify apps is essential.
A strong understanding of responsive design, UX principles, and web performance optimization is necessary.
Experience with A/B testing tools (such as Convert, VWO, PostHog) and analytics platforms (like GA4, Triple Whale, Segment) is required.
Excellent asynchronous communication skills and a collaborative mindset are essential for this role.
Bonus points for candidates with experience in Shopify Functions and headless commerce stacks.
