Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in data science, healthcare administration, information systems, or a related field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
A minimum of 8 years of experience in healthcare analytics, data engineering, or business intelligence is required, including client-facing or consulting experience.
At least 4 years of hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting, or BI development within healthcare environments is necessary.
Proficiency in SQL and experience with large-scale data sets are required, along with familiarity with Python or R.
Certification or advanced experience in visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik is necessary.
Epic certification in one or more modules (Clarity, Caboodle, Cogito, Radar) is preferred.
Strong ability to lead client discussions, manage stakeholder expectations, and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences is essential.
Demonstrated experience mentoring junior staff, leading technical workstreams, and contributing to strategic solution design is required.
Knowledge of modern data architectures and cloud-based analytics platforms (Azure, Snowflake, Databricks) is necessary.
Experience applying Agile methodologies to analytics project delivery is required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to quality and continuous improvement are essential.
