• Acid Labs is a design and software development firm that executes a standardized yet flexible agile process focused on quality and communication.
• The company specializes in creating amazing web and mobile products and has been involved in web and mobile development since 2006.
• Acid Labs is looking for a Data Architect who will be responsible for creating, evaluating, and implementing technical solutions that directly impact the efficiency and scalability of their platforms.
• Key challenges include designing and building services in GCP (cloud run, APIs, etc.) to support data engineering tasks, actively participating in defining architecture and infrastructure components, and evaluating and applying new GCP features.
• The Data Architect will propose and develop internal tools to automate tasks or accelerate workflows, contribute to research, experimentation, documentation, and best practices, and collaborate on applied AI projects (automation, classification, anomaly detection, etc.).
• The role also involves ensuring code quality, best practices, testing, CI/CD, and observability.

Requirements:

• Mandatory technical requirements include proficiency in Python (project structuring, modules, concurrency, testing) and SQL (data modeling, query optimization, preferably BigQuery).
• A deep understanding of the GCP stack, including BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, IAM, and Logging is required.
• Candidates must have a good understanding of data architecture, including ingestion, processing, storage, and exposure.
• A builder mentality focused on automation, reuse, and scalability is essential.
• Desirable qualifications include experience applying Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning to solve real problems, even in personal projects or side projects.
• Knowledge of observability, including monitoring, traceability, and metrics, is preferred.
• Contributions in environments with multiple interacting services (event-driven architecture, microservices) are also desirable.
