Remote Affiliate DevOps Engineer / Product Developer

• We are recruiting for an Affiliate DevOps Engineer for a contract to start ASAP.
• This position is remote, but will require occasional trips to Aberdeen, which can be expensed back.
• The day rate for this role is £350-450.

• The role involves developing a new platform that standardizes and unifies infrastructure, deployments, project setup, developer experience, and support across the client.
• Responsibilities include infrastructure and RTL maintenance of existing projects, release management, application support and development, and ensuring security and standards.
• The tech stack includes Terraform, JavaScript/TypeScript, Azure cloud, Azure function apps, GitHub Actions, and Microsoft Entra for authentication and authorization, among others.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have experience in developing platforms and standardizing infrastructure.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and Python is required for building shared services and data layers.
• Experience with Terraform, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Azure cloud services is essential.
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions and application support and development is necessary.
• Knowledge of security standards and governance is important for this role.
• Candidates should be comfortable with networking and database management, including Azure SQL and PostgreSQL.
