The Agile Developer II is an entry-level position ideal for individuals early in their careers who are eager to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative Agile environment.
You will report to Experian Health and design and implement all areas and phases of product development in a Microsoft-centric environment.
The role involves contributing to the ongoing evolution of Experian Health's Medical Necessity, Authorization, and Notice of Care product suites, supporting both legacy systems and modernization plans.
You will partner with a small team focused on iterative delivery, quality, and new ideas.
Responsibilities include defining program specifications, implementing, modifying, and testing software, analyzing system performance, and preparing functional documentation.
You will review project proposals, evaluate alternatives, provide estimates, and make design recommendations.
As part of the broader development lifecycle, you will help identify process improvement areas and learn how to support non-technical users in working more effectively with our systems.
You will build foundational skills while contributing to production systems using technologies such as VB.NET, C#, .NET Framework 4.6.2 / 4.8, .NET 8, SQL Server, React.js, AWS, Kubernetes, and other modern development tools.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience is required.
0–2 years of experience in a software development environment or relevant internships/projects, delivering project software from concepts to implementation is necessary.
A willingness to provide off-hours support when required is expected.
Technical skills required include proficiency in VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET (MVC, WebForms), .NET Core, .NET 8, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and React.js or other front-end frameworks.
Experience with SQL Server (T-SQL and PL/SQL), stored procedure design, performance tuning, and indexing is needed.
Familiarity with REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, and experience with API Management tools is important.
Knowledge of AWS exposure, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, and experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift is required.
Good technical knowledge of software development best practices, ability to conduct peer code reviews, and communicate technical progress is essential.
The candidate should be team-oriented, curious, and adaptable to changing technologies.
