BJAK is seeking a Senior AI/ML Software Engineer to build AI systems that simplify, smarten, and make finance more inclusive for millions in Southeast Asia.
This is a remote position based in China, requiring close collaboration with teams in Malaysia and across Southeast Asia.
The role involves working in a fast-paced, flat team structure where your contributions will have a direct impact on user experience, system efficiency, and platform intelligence.
You will be responsible for defining machine learning goals, designing and deploying ML models, managing the ML lifecycle, building scalable infrastructure, and integrating ML outputs into products.
The position requires staying updated with AI/ML trends and contributing to the optimization of production ML systems.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is required.
Candidates should have 2 to 4 years of experience in machine learning or backend software development.
Proficiency in Python and familiarity with frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn is essential.
A solid understanding of ML workflows, including data cleaning, model development, tuning, and evaluation is necessary.
Experience with model deployment, API development, and real-world ML integration is required.
Familiarity with tools like Google Colab, Jupyter, and cloud ML platforms is expected.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.
Candidates must be based in China and willing to collaborate remotely across time zones.
