HackerOne is seeking an AI Automation Engineer III on the Enterprise Data & AI team.
The role involves working on challenging projects in collaboration with various teams across the company.
The engineer will utilize AI-first thinking, change agility, first-principles problem solving, and data-driven decision making to drive innovation.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, and deploying AI-powered automation solutions to alleviate routine manual tasks.
The engineer will act as a strategic partner to business and technology teams, translating operational needs into scalable automated systems.
The position requires supporting end-to-end automation project delivery, including solution design, configuration, integration, and quality assurance.
The engineer will manage incidents for business-critical assets as part of an on-call rotation and help develop response processes and playbooks.
This is a remote role targeted for candidates within approximately 50 miles of Seattle, WA or Washington, DC.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience as an Engineer, Scientist, or in a similar role with a proven track record in AI-powered automation solutions.
Experience in acting as a strategic partner to business and technology teams is required.
Candidates should have experience in supporting end-to-end automation project delivery, including solution design, configuration, integration, and quality assurance.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills focused on driving operational efficiency through technology are necessary.
Demonstrated project management, change management, and business transformation experience is ideal, especially in fast-paced or pre-IPO environments.
A proven track record of making a substantial impact across the company is essential.
Candidates should have a passion for customer-centric approaches and empathy for business stakeholders.
The ability to solve ambiguous problem statements in an early-stage environment is required.
Excellent communication skills are necessary, with the ability to present data-driven narratives effectively.
Experience in shaping strategic vision and roadmaps for AI and SaaS is preferred.
Familiarity with Agile and iterative development processes is required.
