Remote AI Backend Engineer - India

Description:

• JumpCloud is seeking an AI Backend Engineer to join their remote team in India.

• The JumpCloud Devices services organization focuses on synchronizing users, groups, and permissions with non-JumpCloud services.
• The engineer will implement features through individual contributions and provide guidance on organization, process, and design.
• The team primarily uses Go, but experience with other modern languages is acceptable.
• Collaboration with architects, UX, and DevOps is essential to ensure systems are highly available, scalable, and performant.
• The engineer will work with engineering leadership and product management to scope work and features effectively.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 8+ years of industry/production programming experience in Java, Python, C, or C++, with a strong interest in learning Go and NodeJS.
• A moderate to good level of exposure to AI tools for logic building and automation is required.
• Candidates should demonstrate a willingness and ability to learn new technologies, languages, and frameworks.
• Strong experience in developing large-scale web applications or SaaS applications in the cloud is necessary, with AWS experience being a plus.
• Comfort with Linux/OSX/Unix as a desktop development environment is required.
• Strong database experience, including both relational and non-relational databases, is essential.
• Candidates must be strong team players who are committed to collaborative success.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field is required.
• A passion for product and customer experience, beyond just coding, is essential.
