Remote AI Engineer

Description:

• Luupli is a social media app focused on equity, diversity, and equality, aiming to create a positive impact on society and the planet.
• The AI Engineer will develop intelligent systems and orchestrate workflows that power Luupli’s AI features.
• Responsibilities include building and deploying multi-agent AI workflows, implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, integrating hosted and open-source LLMs, building REST APIs, deploying services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), embedding AI into platform features, and maintaining secure code across the AI system lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in applied AI/ML engineering, specifically in production-level deployments.
• Strong Python development skills are required, with full-stack AI engineering experience in FastAPI, Streamlit, LangGraph, LangChain, PyTorch, and vector databases like FAISS, Weaviate, or Pinecone.
• Solid experience with hosted APIs (OpenAI, Gemini) and self-hosted models (Mistral, Ollama, LLaMA) is necessary.
• A deep understanding of LLM orchestration, agent tool-use, memory sharing, and prompt engineering is essential.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly with Vertex AI, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, and Pub/Sub, is required.
• Familiarity with best practices in cloud-based software development, including containerization, CI/CD, testing, and monitoring, is expected.
