This position is for an AI/ML Engineer II at Precision Medicine Group, located in India, and is a remote role.
The role involves designing, developing, and scaling machine learning models, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI, particularly in the healthcare sector.
The engineer will collaborate with product, data science, and engineering teams to implement AI-powered innovations into production.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, optimizing, and deploying machine learning and deep learning models, implementing scalable AI solutions, fine-tuning AI models with large datasets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
The engineer will work with healthcare and claims data to build high-performance ML workflows and maintain MLOps pipelines for model training, deployment, and monitoring.
Troubleshooting production-level model issues and documenting processes and methodologies are also key responsibilities.
Staying updated with industry trends and advancements in AI/ML is expected.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field is required.
A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML engineering, specifically in delivering models into production, is necessary.
Strong proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and experience with ML/NLP frameworks is essential.
A solid understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and NLP concepts is required.
Experience with fine-tuning and evaluating Generative AI models is necessary.
Familiarity with data processing, augmentation, and synthetic data generation is expected.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, as well as Docker and Kubernetes, is required.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to design novel AI solutions in complex scenarios are essential.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven track record of working across multidisciplinary teams, are required.
The ability to lead projects with minimal supervision and synthesize complex information to drive strategic value is necessary.
