Remote AI/ML Software Engineer

Description:

• Bjak is seeking an AI/ML Senior Software Engineer based in Vietnam, working fully remote while collaborating with the Malaysia team.
• The role involves working with product managers and stakeholders to define AI and machine learning objectives, requirements, and timelines.
• Responsibilities include designing, developing, and implementing AI models, algorithms, and applications to solve complex business challenges.
• The engineer will oversee the full AI model lifecycle, including data collection, preprocessing, model training, evaluation, and deployment.
• The position requires optimizing and maintaining AI-driven systems for scalability, security, and efficiency.
• The engineer will apply advanced analytics and machine learning techniques to drive data-driven decision-making.
• Staying updated with the latest advancements in AI, ML, and deep learning is essential, incorporating best practices into projects.
• Conducting research to explore and integrate cutting-edge AI techniques is also part of the role.
• Effective collaboration with the Malaysia-based team is necessary to ensure smooth project execution and alignment.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field is required.
• Proven experience as an AI/ML Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, or Data Scientist is necessary.
• Proficiency in AI and ML frameworks and programming languages such as Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn is essential.
• Strong expertise in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation is required.
• Experience in deploying and optimizing AI models in a production environment is necessary.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and debugging skills are required.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities are essential for this role.
• The candidate must be a Vietnamese citizen.
• The candidate must be willing to work remotely from Vietnam while collaborating with the Malaysia team.
