Remote AI Product Engineer

Description:

• You will join our engineering team as the founding AI Product Engineer, helping to establish the foundation of our intelligence capabilities.
• Your role will involve determining how best to incorporate LLMs, embeddings, and other AI technologies into Clarify's product.
• You will explore the boundaries of what’s possible and find innovative ways to apply new learnings to Clarify's product offering.
• You will work with the team to prototype and experiment with new AI capabilities.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver product features on time.
• You will uplevel the team as a domain expert, teacher, and learner on AI.
• You will partner with our founders on the strategy of our intelligence capabilities.
• You will have high ownership over technical decisions and direction.
• You will help educate and guide all future engineers in our technology stack.
• You will establish standards and best practices for engineering.

Requirements:

• You must have 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• You should have experience using LLMs, embeddings, or other ML natural language technologies.
• You need hands-on experience with data pipeline technologies such as Spark, Flink, etc.
• You must be proficient with our technology stack, which includes React, TypeScript, Next.js, and Postgres.
• You should be a pragmatic problem solver with a focus on delivering impact.
• You need to demonstrate personal and professional maturity.
• You should have experience taking software from ideation to production.
• You must possess strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• You should have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Startup experience or a desire to build your own company one day is preferred.
