  • PayPay is looking for an Android Engineer to work on their payment product to deliver the best payment experience for Japanese customers.
  • The team aims to grow finance mobile service as the user's first touch point of PayPay.
  • The engineer will actively follow new technology to make the app more convenient.
  • Responsibilities include building new features rapidly using various technical approaches, such as native OS, KMM, and own SDK, while ensuring high quality.
  • The engineer will work closely with the product team to customize the payment experience, prototype new and redesign features, focus on UI/UX design principles, and engage in product-driven development.
  • The tech stack includes Kotlin, Simple Stack, RxJava, Koin, Picasso, CardIO, Moshi, Okhttp, Mapbox, Lottie, Github, Android Studio, Firebase, AppsFlyer, Figma, Slack, and Zoom.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have a deep understanding of modern mobile development.
  • A strong proficiency in Object Oriented design and Kotlin is required.
  • Experience with Android development is essential.
  • A strong passion for code quality and familiarity with test cases is necessary.
  • Candidates should have familiarity with the integration of Rest API.
  • A strong sense of ownership is expected.
  • Applicants must have at least one mobile app to showcase during the interview.
  • A minimum of 6 years of professional experience in a product-based company is required.
