There is an opening for a full-time Application Developer - .NET to join a dynamic team in support of a large Federal Government customer.
The Application Developer - .NET will design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications.
The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Daily responsibilities include understanding client goals, working with developers and systems administrators to build and deploy applications, and assisting with application issue resolution.
The developer will also maintain records of configuration components, capture metrics, and ensure applications meet security controls.
Participation in Agile ceremonies such as daily Scrum and sprint planning is expected.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field is required, although equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in engineering and delivering business applications.
Experience with cloud environments such as AWS and Azure is necessary.
Proficiency in .NET Core, Javascript, secure API endpoints, and front-end frameworks like Vue, Angular, or React is required.
Knowledge of programming languages including ASP.net, C#, Entity Framework, SQL Server/TSQL, and XML is essential.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, SharePoint, Microsoft PowerApps, PowerBI, and SQL Server tools is needed.
Experience with Visual Studio and Git workflows is required.
Understanding of DevSecOps concepts and tools is necessary.
Experience working with Agile teams using Scrum and SAFe frameworks is a plus.
Previous experience with Docker/Containerization and the Blazor framework is considered advantageous.
Technical certifications from Microsoft and AWS are preferred.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are required.
Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills are necessary.

Strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team are essential.
