We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Application Engineer / Administrator to join our expanding team supporting complex enterprise infrastructure and application environments.
This role is ideal for professionals with a strong foundation in application lifecycle management, automation, and containerized systems, who are eager to contribute in large-scale, multicultural IT environments.
You will be responsible for the deployment, configuration, performance tuning, and support of mission-critical applications, while also helping to drive DevOps best practices and continuous improvement in service quality.
Your key responsibilities will include installing, configuring, and administering applications across production and non-production environments.
You will monitor application performance, tune systems, and drive operational efficiency.
Supporting application-related incident, change, release, and problem management processes will be part of your role.
You will write and maintain documentation such as installation manuals, troubleshooting guides, and backup/restore plans.
Automating system administration tasks and providing supporting documentation will be required.
You will maintain and enrich the technical knowledgebase for ICT Operations.
Producing reports on availability, capacity, and performance of applications when required will be part of your duties.
A working knowledge of English (B2 or higher) is necessary.
You should have at least 6 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, including GUI/API testing.
Strong experience in C# or Java, with OOP and design pattern usage is required.
Proven experience in test automation using tools like RestAssured, RestSharp, and Selenium WebDriver is essential.
Knowledge of BDD methodologies and tools (e.g., SpecFlow, Cucumber) is expected.
Experience applying DevOps best practices, including continuous testing and release pipelines, is necessary.
Experience with system and acceptance testing using dynamic/static techniques is required.
Requirements:
At least 6 years of experience in mid/large IT infrastructure environments is required.
A minimum of 2 years of experience with microservices, container orchestration, and Docker/Kubernetes is necessary.
A minimum of 2 years administering and supporting Elasticsearch is required.
At least 5 years working with enterprise Microsoft or Linux server solutions is essential.
Good knowledge of Elasticsearch cluster administration is necessary.
Good knowledge of container tools (Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, Rancher) is required.
Strong scripting skills with Shell and/or PowerShell are necessary.
Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chocolatey) is required.
A solid understanding of ITIL processes (incident, change, release) is essential.
Desirable qualifications include experience with gRPC, non-functional testing (performance, security, reliability), Azure or AWS (public/hybrid cloud environments), relational databases such as MS SQL or PostgreSQL, knowledge of Kong API Gateway, and certifications related to the technologies above.
