The EPLAN Application Engineer will support the Professional Services organization as the technical “trusted advisor” to new and existing educational institutions along with distribution partners.
This role involves providing industry-level experience with practical solutions that leverage the benefits of the EPLAN platform.
The Application Engineer will act as a link between Sales and other Professional Services team members, focusing on critical educational initiatives and the development of channel partners.
Responsibilities include supporting Sales teams to maximize opportunities during pre-sale activities.
The engineer will onboard new and existing customers to enable users to utilize EPLAN in both theoretical and practical learning.
Development of training and enablement materials for distribution networks is also a key responsibility.
The role includes developing new and existing customers through onsite coaching and consulting to highlight EPLAN products.
The Application Engineer will present at trade shows and local markets to increase brand awareness of EPLAN's potential.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering is required.
Candidates must have 2+ years of experience using CAE tools for electrical designs, with EPLAN experience preferred.
The ideal candidate should be inquisitive, honest, and capable of solving difficult problems while promoting ideas, products, and services.
Experience with system integration, manufacturing, and working with higher education institutions is preferred.
IT and application skills, including knowledge of network solutions, Windows Server, Windows OS, and Microsoft Office solutions, are necessary.
Good oral and written communication skills in English are required.
Strong communication, networking, and interpersonal skills are essential.
Candidates should possess strong business acumen with the ability to influence at various organizational levels.
The role requires a strong team worker who can interface with regional sales and vertical market management.
