The position is for an Application Engineer and is remote, available only to candidates located in the EU.

Responsibilities include application installation, configuration, and administration in both production and non-production environments.
The engineer will monitor applications, perform performance tuning, and continuously improve service efficiency and quality.
They will handle applications support and maintenance activities, including incident, change, release, and problem resolution.
The role involves writing and validating application procedure manuals, troubleshooting guides, and backup and restore plans.
The engineer will automate administrative procedures for recurring system administration activities and provide necessary installation and technical support documentation.
They will contribute to the structuring, maintenance, and development of the technical knowledge base supporting ICT Operations activities.
Reporting on application availability, performance, capacity, and overall usage is also required.
Requirements:
A minimum of 6 years of experience as an IT professional in mid/large IT infrastructure environments, including deployment, support, and maintenance of applications, is mandatory.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in application administration is required.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience with micro-services, container orchestration, and container-based stacks such as Docker or Kubernetes.
A minimum of 2 years of experience administering and supporting Elasticsearch is mandatory.
Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience working with enterprise Microsoft server or Linux server solutions.
Good knowledge of the deployment and administration of Elasticsearch clusters is mandatory.
Candidates must possess good knowledge of micro-services, container orchestration, and container-based stacks using Kubernetes, Helm charts, Docker, and Rancher.
Good knowledge of configuration management concepts and technologies, such as Puppet, Ansible, and Chocolatey, is required.
Candidates should have good knowledge of shell and/or PowerShell scripting.
A good understanding of ITIL, including incident, change, and release management processes, is mandatory.
