The Application Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining secure, accessible, and user-friendly application environments in cloud infrastructure for federal clients.
This role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including security, DevOps, and UI/UX specialists to deliver high-quality web-based solutions that meet mission requirements and accessibility standards.
The engineer will translate complex requirements into functional applications, ensuring compliance with Section 508 and other federal guidelines.
Responsibilities include producing and maintaining technical documentation and supporting deployment processes.

Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship and active DoD Secret Clearance are required.
An active Security+ CE (or equivalent) certification is necessary.
A minimum of 4 years of experience in federal application development or engineering, including cloud environments, is required.
Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Oracle Forms is preferred.
Knowledge of Section 508, WCAG 2.1+, ADA, and accessibility integration into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) is essential.
Proficiency with modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript) and backend development (Node.js, Python, Java, or similar) is required.
Experience with accessibility validation tools (Axe, JAWS, NVDA, Wave) and remediation processes is necessary.
Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse, multidisciplinary teams are required.
A Bachelor’s degree is preferred; industry accessibility certifications (IAAP CPACC or WAS) are a plus.
Familiarity with Agile, DevSecOps, and CI/CD in government or regulated environments is desirable.
Benefits:
The position offers a competitive salary range of $125,000 – $155,000.
