As a founding Applied AI Engineer, you will lead the development of AI-driven leadership coaching, reporting to the Head of AI.
This role involves creating advanced generative AI models and sophisticated natural language processing systems for personalized coaching.
You will optimize AI systems for enterprise scale, ensuring high performance and reliability for Fortune 500 clients.
Collaboration with product and leadership teams is essential to drive innovation and identify new AI integration opportunities.
You will champion ethical AI practices, ensuring fairness, transparency, and user trust in coaching solutions.

Responsibilities include architecting conversational AI solutions, improving user experience, evaluating existing models, deploying coaching agents, managing data sources, and supporting software development.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
At least 3 years of professional experience in software engineering or AI/ML development is necessary, ideally with a Master's or Ph.D. in a related field.
Practical knowledge of conversational systems, NLP, and Information Retrieval is essential, along with relevant tools.
Strong software engineering skills and a proven track record in developing data-driven machine learning systems are required.
Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX is necessary.
Experience with cloud deployment of ML systems (AWS, GCP, Azure) and open systems (Docker, Kubernetes) is required.
Familiarity with Data Science tools (NumPy, scikit-learn, Pandas, PySpark) and ML lifecycle tools (MLflow, Weights & Biases) is essential.
Hands-on experience in building Generative AI applications, including Large Language Models, is required.
Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively are necessary.
Exposure to early-stage startups, preferably in B2B SaaS, is preferred.
