The Associate Decision Scientist will be part of the advanced analytics team for personal lines insurance, focusing on business analysis from statistical analysis to advanced Machine Learning modeling.
This role involves transforming data into actionable insights and developing robust statistical models to support business decisions through advanced analytics.
Responsibilities include conducting advanced statistical analysis to answer business questions, developing advanced business analytics dashboards, and creating automated ETL processes along with dashboard and reporting refresh processes.
The candidate will develop descriptive and predictive machine learning models and design statistical and predictive models to support business strategy.
The role requires building standardized models within ELT processes and developing analytical reports and dashboards using BI tools.
The Associate Decision Scientist will learn and apply internal company data, particularly in the insurance sector, and collaborate with analytics teams and data resources to maximize insights.
The position also involves serving as a technical reference for statistical analysis and predictive modeling and contributing to the definition of KPIs and metrics for the newly formed team.
Requirements:
Preferred total work experience is between 1 to 3 years.
Candidates must be fluent in English.
A Bachelor’s degree is required, with preferred fields of study including Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or Computer Science.
Other critical skills include intermediate proficiency in SQL, Python, Machine Learning, Data Modeling, and Microsoft Power BI.
