The Associate Principal, Business Development role focuses on the Data and AI vertical within TELUS Digital.
This position is responsible for leading relationships with key strategic accounts and cultivating relationships with prospective accounts.
The role involves driving the strategic direction of the Data & AI practice by supporting Go-To-Market activities and developing service and commercial strategies.
The Associate Principal will ensure that all aspects of account work exceed client expectations, from strategic development to execution.
This role serves as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert in analytics, data, and AI, helping customers leverage data to achieve their business objectives.
Responsibilities include executing and engaging prospective clients, identifying target accounts, articulating technology solutions, collaborating on proposals, cultivating C-level relationships, and advising internal teams on industry trends.
Requirements:
Candidates must have experience selling or delivering solutions focused on Data-driven Insights, Data and AI Strategy, and AI-driven Products.
Experience in Data and/or AI custom services sales or consulting with Fortune 5000-level client accounts is required.
Proven experience in acquiring new client logos and cross-selling within existing accounts is necessary.
Candidates should possess knowledge in AI, Machine Learning, Data Engineering, and Data Science.
A self-driven attitude and intellectual curiosity about the Data & AI market, particularly the GenAI movement, are essential.
The ability to identify business issues and scope analyses to yield critical insights is required.
Effective communication and influence across all organizational levels are necessary skills.
Experience in GenAI custom services sales or consulting and a background in Data Engineering or Data Science are preferred.
A Master’s Degree in Business Administration is preferred.

The annual base salary range for this position is $200,000 - $230,000 USD, with the potential for performance bonuses.
