• The Associate Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) will work in a collaborative environment focused on quality engineering.
• SDETs are embedded in agile development teams to lead testing strategies and automation requirements for each iteration and release.
• The quality engineering team regularly reviews and improves testing processes, automation, innovations, and best practices.
• Responsibilities include collaborating with product managers and engineers, executing quality best practices, identifying areas for improved testing efficiencies, and building efficient test frameworks.
• The role requires a hands-on approach to implementing QA processes from requirements analysis to test execution and maintenance.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 1-3 years of hands-on experience in QA automation, including functional, system, integration, and regression testing.
• Experience in developing test automation for backend applications is required.
• Candidates should be well-versed in backend API automation and necessary tools/framework development.
• Strong knowledge of testing concepts, database concepts, and OOPs concepts is essential.
• A solid understanding of various test types, including client/server, white-box, black-box, and positive/negative testing is required.
• Candidates must possess solid test design skills, test case writing, automation, and analysis capabilities.
• 1-3 years of programming experience in web languages such as Go, PHP, Ruby, or Java is necessary.
• Experience with shell commands and continuous integration/build tools (e.g., Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, Travis) is required.
• LAMP stack experience is essential, along with working knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, or containers.
