Remote Atlassian Platform Engineer / Developer

Description:

• Cprime is seeking an Atlassian Platform Engineer / Developer to manage the Atlassian toolset with a focus on a human-first, customer-centric approach.
• The role primarily involves working with Jira and Confluence, influenced by customer success methodology, AWS technologies, Agile principles, and technology project management.
• The Developer Collaboration Team collaborates with internal stakeholders globally to drive engineering and collaboration initiatives that enhance end-user outcomes and customer experience.
• Responsibilities include translating user business needs into a product map aligned with success criteria and measurement.
• The individual will work with product management, engineering, and other teams to maximize the use of the Atlassian product suite.
• Cprime has adopted a remote-first work environment, allowing for occasional in-person meetings for collaboration and social events.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 2-4 years of experience as an Atlassian Engineer/Developer, primarily with JIRA and Confluence.
• The role requires the ability to develop custom integrations and interfaces between external tools and the Jira/Confluence infrastructure.
• Intermediate programming skills in Groovy/Python, along with strong SQL and JQL experience, are necessary.
• The candidate will be responsible for maintaining the Atlassian infrastructure and managing yearly platform upgrades.
• A solid understanding of software development lifecycle principles and Agile frameworks is required.
• The individual should identify use cases for business and process automation to improve efficiency.
• Experience in managing configurations and implementing various plugins and integrations, such as Advanced Roadmaps and Automation for JIRA, is essential.
• Practical experience with AWS technologies to support solution delivery and customer success is required.
• Excellent problem-solving, process implementation, and communication skills are necessary.
• The candidate should be detail-oriented, motivated, independent, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in the financial industry is a plus.
