As an Atlassian Platform Engineer, you will oversee the administration, customization, and enhancement of Atlassian tools for a Healthcare client, including Jira, Jira Service Management (JSM), Confluence, Trello, and Bitbucket.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations, improve processes, and ensure efficient ticket management workflows.
This is a fully remote opportunity, offering flexibility in your work environment.
Key responsibilities include configuring and optimizing Atlassian tools, collaborating with stakeholders for process improvements, designing and implementing Jira workflows, ensuring smooth ticket management operations, integrating tools with other platforms, enforcing security measures, providing troubleshooting support, conducting training sessions, monitoring system performance, and planning platform upgrades.
Requirements:
3-5 years of experience in Atlassian tool administration, including customization and workflow optimization.
Strong knowledge of Jira workflows, custom fields, permissions, reporting dashboards, automation, and integrations with Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and other tools.
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, JavaScript) and knowledge of JQL (Jira Query Language) for automation and customization.
Demonstrated ability to analyze existing processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective solutions.
Strong interpersonal skills to work across teams and communicate technical details to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and practices.
Atlassian certifications (e.g., ACP-100 Jira Administrator, ACP-600 Jira Project Administrator) are a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
