Coconut is seeking an Automation Developer / Low-Code Engineer to design and build internal systems using Lovable and Supabase.
The role requires developing interfaces and dashboards to support operations, reporting, and task tracking.
Responsibilities include setting up custom data models and logic for internal tools, connecting Supabase to Lovable and external APIs, and structuring flows that include database operations, messaging, and permission logic.
The candidate will handle authentication flows and work closely with the Apps Manager to scope, prioritize, and implement scalable systems.
Clear documentation for all logic, flows, and data structures built is essential.
The position is project-based, requiring 20 hours per week for 1-2 months, with a monthly rate of $1,000.
The role is remote, with availability in the EDT time zone.
Requirements:
Candidates must have experience designing and building internal systems using Lovable and Supabase.
A strong understanding of SQL (PostgreSQL) and API requests, auth tokens, and HTTP headers is required.
Hands-on familiarity with Supabase as a backend, including tables, auth, and API usage, is essential.
The ability to build and test logic using no-code/low-code platforms like Lovable is necessary.
Strong planning and documentation skills are a must.
Creative problem-solving skills to find workarounds for platform/system limitations are non-negotiable.
Good to have experience with automation tools like Make and Zapier, familiarity with Supabase Edge Functions, and comfort with GitHub and version control.
