  • The Automation QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of web applications by designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions.
  • The role requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual who is passionate about building scalable test frameworks and thrives in a collaborative Agile environment.
  • Responsibilities include developing and enhancing test automation, contributing to framework architecture, improving test reliability, integrating testing, championing quality in CI/CD, and collaborating with developers and product managers.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2-3 years focused on test automation.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern features like async/await and Promises is required, with the ability to write clean, maintainable code.
  • Hands-on experience with any JS-based testing framework is necessary, with deep experience in WebDriverIO, Cypress, or Playwright being a strong plus.
  • A solid understanding of the Page Object Model (POM) and experience in building scalable test automation frameworks is essential.
  • Proficiency with Git and version control workflows, including branching, pull requests, and resolving merge conflicts, is absolutely essential.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI and integrating automated tests into deployment pipelines is required.
  • Candidates must have the ability to automate API tests and understand RESTful services, with experience using tools like Postman for manual validation.
  • A collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills are necessary for this role.
