The position is for an AWS Cloud Developer at VivSoft Technologies, requiring an active Secret security clearance.
This is a remote, part-time contract role lasting 2 months, with an expected commitment of 20 hours per week.
The developer will support a high-priority infrastructure project and must be available to collaborate with the project team during standard business hours.
Key responsibilities include implementing and configuring AWS IAM Identity Center with Common Access Card (CAC) authentication, setting up CAC authentication for EC2 instances using AWS Systems Manager, and configuring AWS Directory Service.
The developer will also integrate with AWS Certificate Manager for certificate management, implement AWS Organizations for multi-account management, create Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation or Terraform, and document processes for knowledge transfer.
Requirements:
Candidates must have experience implementing STIGS in Windows operating systems.
Strong expertise in AWS Directory Service and Active Directory management is required.
Experience with AWS IAM, IAM Identity Center, and federation is necessary.
Proficiency with AWS Systems Manager and EC2 instance management is essential.
Knowledge of AWS security services such as AWS KMS, Secrets Manager, and Security Hub is required.
Candidates should have experience with AWS networking services including VPC, Direct Connect, and Transit Gateway.
Familiarity with AWS CloudWatch for monitoring and logging is expected.
An AWS Solutions Architect Professional or DevOps Engineer Professional certification is required.
Experience with AWS Control Tower and AWS Organizations is necessary.
Knowledge of AWS Landing Zone architecture is preferred.
Candidates should have experience with government/military AWS GovCloud environments.
Familiarity with RMF and FedRAMP compliance requirements is required.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy is necessary.
