Redhorse Corporation is seeking a skilled and motivated AWS Cloud DevOps Engineer to join their high-performing team.
The role involves maintaining and enhancing cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized environments for government clients.
Key responsibilities include troubleshooting complex production environment issues, configuring and managing AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, and building, maintaining, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Groovy/Java.
The engineer will create, deploy, and manage Docker containers and Kubernetes workloads, write and maintain Linux shell scripts, and administer Red Hat Linux environments as a superuser.
Collaboration with engineering teams to implement secure, scalable, and resilient cloud architectures is essential.
The engineer will also design and maintain AWS virtual networks, focusing on security and best practices.
Requirements:
Candidates must have hands-on AWS experience and be comfortable configuring services through CLI or IaC.
Experience in CI/CD automation is required, specifically writing custom Jenkins pipelines in Groovy/Java.
A strong command-line experience with Red Hat Linux and shell scripting is necessary.
Proficiency with Docker, including writing Dockerfiles and understanding its role in microservices and deployment workflows, is required.
Familiarity with IaC tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible is essential.
Candidates should have the ability to configure Kubernetes clusters and deploy/manage containers.
A practical understanding of network protocols, security, and AWS virtual network setup is required.
An active US SECRET Clearance is mandatory.
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required.
