Remote AWS DevOps Architect

Description:

• Redapt Inc. is a leading data center infrastructure integrator, technology engineering firm, and cloud services provider.
• The company is seeking a self-motivated and highly experienced AWS DevOps Architect with a focus on Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• The role involves customer-facing consulting and leading teams in cloud solutions development and delivery.
• Responsibilities include leading requirements gathering, analysis, and solution development for cloud-based DevOps solutions.
• The architect will partner with project teams, functional architects, systems specialists, and other technical resources.
• The position requires leading and delivering projects remotely, driving cloud migration/adoption from inception to production.
• The architect will be responsible for technical presentations and deliverables.
• Mentoring and providing technical oversight to implementation teams is a key aspect of the role.
• The architect will support the development and growth of the Modern Data Center Practice / DevOps Team.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have working experience with Terraform and AWS.
• Experience with Kubernetes/EKS is required.
• Proficiency in Golang or Python is necessary.
• Candidates should have experience with CI/CD and a general understanding of Jenkins-like automation tools; experience with Spinnaker or TeamCity is preferred.
• General knowledge of Security, Authentication, MFA, Authorization, B2C, Data Privacy, IAM, Cryptography/Key Management, Access Controls, and Security Protocols is a plus.
• Extensive working experience with AWS technologies is mandatory.
• Candidates should have 3-5+ years of overall industry experience.
• A minimum of 2+ years of experience with demonstrated Cloud architecture projects and deployments is required.
• Candidates should have 2+ years of experience with Cloud solutions, platforms, and technologies.
• At least 1+ years of experience across the business development life cycle (Pre-Sales, Solution Architecture, Pricing, and Proposal Development) is necessary.
• Candidates must have 1+ years of experience working with Kubernetes in production.
• Comfort in an enterprise-level environment is essential.
• Mid-level to Expert level experience with Terraform in Cloud Environments is required.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience is necessary.

Benefits:

• The base salary range for this full-time position in the US is $140,000 - $190,000 annually, plus bonuses and benefits.
• Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, and may vary based on factors such as work location, job-related knowledge/skills, relevant education/training, and level of experience.
