The company is seeking a skilled AWS DevOps Engineer to join their team on a part-time basis, requiring 10+ hours per week.
The role involves enhancing infrastructure with a focus on scaling, security, and cost optimization.
Responsibilities include developing clean and maintainable infrastructure solutions, defining architectural strategies, reviewing infrastructure code, building services to streamline development, mentoring team members, establishing best practices, participating in sprint meetings, promoting automation and innovation, consulting with non-technical stakeholders, and advocating for new tools and technologies.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 6+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer with a strong background in AWS.
Proven expertise in scaling, securing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure is required.
Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure as code is necessary.
Experience with database technologies such as Postgres and Aurora is essential.
Strong knowledge of Node.js, TypeScript, GraphQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, and React environments is required.
A solid understanding of cost optimization strategies in cloud environments is necessary.
Experience in mentoring and guiding engineering teams in DevOps best practices is required.
