IsI Enterprises is seeking a highly motivated AWS Infrastructure Security Engineer.
The engineer will work closely with the Security Control Engineering team to evaluate the security of the enterprise web application.
Responsibilities include assisting in the implementation of proper security policies and controls within the AWS infrastructure.
The engineer will assist in the remediation of vulnerabilities and prepare the application for FedRAMP evaluation and certification.
Job responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments of the AWS infrastructure for compliance with FedRAMP and SOC2 requirements.
The engineer will assist in implementing security policies and controls in the AWS infrastructure.
Identifying security gaps and vulnerabilities within the infrastructure and developing remediation plans is also part of the role.
The engineer will assist with the remediation of security audit findings from third-party vendors.
Collaboration with the engineering team to implement necessary security controls and measures for compliance is required.
The engineer will provide technical expertise and guidance on FedRAMP requirements, policies, and procedures.
Assistance in gathering evidence for preparing FedRAMP documentation is also part of the job.
The engineer will work with the engineering team to implement FIPS security controls.
Requirements:
Applicants must have current, interim eligibility, or previous security clearance.
Candidates must have held or currently hold a clearance or have documented eligibility based on a favorable background investigation.
Interim clearances will be accepted for consideration, and all clearances are encouraged to apply.
U.S. citizenship is required by federal regulation.
Applicants without the above qualifications will not be considered due to contract requirements.
A minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services and architecture is required, including AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM), Amazon EC2, RDS, ECS, S3, etc.
Experience with Terraform or a similar “infrastructure-as-code” tool is necessary.
In-depth knowledge of FedRAMP requirements, controls, and processes is required.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for identifying and addressing complex security issues.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
Benefits:
The salary range for this job is $160,000 - $182,000.
