Description:

  • Our client is seeking a Software Architect with deep Azure cloud experience to lead the technical execution of a cloud migration project.
  • This is a hands-on, high-urgency engineering role where your cloud and software expertise will directly impact one of the country’s top healthcare organizations.
  • You will be working on migrating legacy cloud infrastructure to Microsoft Azure, building and optimizing modern cloud-native applications, and collaborating with a distributed, senior-level engineering team.
  • This is an individual contributor role—ideal for someone who thrives on ownership and solving complex technical challenges under tight timelines.
  • Responsibilities include owning the technical execution of a large-scale cloud migration to Azure, writing clean, production-level code in Python and React, supporting full-stack development across front-end and back-end systems, collaborating with other architects, product managers, and developers, evaluating and implementing the best Azure services and infrastructure strategies, and jumping in wherever needed to meet aggressive delivery goals.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 6-10+ years of Azure cloud architecture experience or similar.
  • Proven experience executing large-scale Azure cloud migration projects with the ability to lead and perform independently is required.
  • Strong development experience with Python and React is essential.
  • Candidates must be available immediately and can commit through October.
  • Experience working on fast-moving client projects and the ability to deliver under pressure is necessary.
  • Healthcare experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and available to work on a C2C or 1099 contractor basis.
  • Compliance requirements include passing a criminal background check, drug test, and sex offender registry search.

Benefits:

  • The position is fully remote within the U.S.
  • A flexible work schedule is offered, prioritizing outcomes over hours.
  • You will have the opportunity to work with a seasoned, mission-driven engineering team.
  • A MacBook will be provided if needed.
