As a Cloud Architect, you will design and implement complex solutions architectures that meet business requirements and drive efficiency.
The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical skills and leadership ability, along with strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with the IT team.
The job holder will specialize in the design, deployment, and management of cloud services within the Azure Platform.
This role is critical in ensuring that cloud infrastructure and applications are optimized for performance, scalability, and security.
Responsibilities include evaluating existing systems, recommending enhancements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, providing technical leadership, developing architecture documentation, conducting design reviews, mentoring junior architects, and staying updated on technology trends.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or in a similar role within a complex environment is required.
Experience with Internal Development Platforms (IDP) is necessary.
Candidates must have experience with cloud technologies, particularly in Azure, and expertise in cloud architecture, Landing Zones, Multi-tenant platform patterns, and Governance.
Extensive experience with Kubernetes (AKS) and using Terraform as Infrastructure as Code (IAC) is essential.
Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, continuous integration, and deployment strategies is required.
A strong understanding of Solutions architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices is necessary.
In-depth knowledge of various architecture frameworks and methodologies is expected.
A solid background in software development and infrastructure design is required.
Exceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on performance optimization and scalability are essential.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are necessary, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
