The key responsibilities of the Azure DevOps Engineer include designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure as code using Terraform, developing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, building scalable data workflows, deploying and managing containerized applications, ensuring high availability and security, collaborating with teams, troubleshooting issues, and implementing monitoring and logging.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 7+ years of experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role, specifically with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
Strong experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse, and Databricks in a production environment is required.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform is necessary.
Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps is essential.
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes, preferably Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), is required.
Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash is needed.
Familiarity with cloud security principles and cost optimization strategies is important.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset are essential.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work in cross-functional teams are required.
