Remote Azure Integration Architect with SAP S4Hana

Description:

• The role is for an Azure Integration Architect with SAP S4Hana, located in Collegeville or Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with remote work options available.
• The primary responsibility is to understand the SAP Hana Data Model and Landscape and to create a transient layer on Business Data Cloud (BDC) that integrates seamlessly with S4HANA and the current data model (ECC).
• The position requires a strong understanding of both BDC platforms and Azure cloud services, along with experience in data integration, migration, and related technologies.
• The role necessitates a combination of SAP expertise, cloud computing knowledge, and strong data integration skills to ensure a secure transition of SAP systems to the Azure cloud environment.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and BDC, including a deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture, data models, and integration capabilities.
• A deep understanding of SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) or similar platforms is required.
• Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and data integration within the BDC environment is essential.
• Familiarity with BDC’s data structures, APIs, and data access methods is necessary.
• Proficiency in Azure services is required, particularly with Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Azure Logic Apps, and Event Grid.
• Experience with Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates or Terraform for infrastructure provisioning is needed.
• Candidates should have experience migrating data from BDC to Azure and proficiency in data integration techniques and tools, including ETL processes.
• Understanding of DevOps principles and practices is required, along with experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python is necessary for building testing and validation strategies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and familiarity with Azure Active Directory and security concepts are also required.
