Remote Back End Engineer [Remote-US]

Description:

• Quanata is seeking a Back End Engineer to build and enhance critical services that power their business.
• The role involves developing systems that manage core financial and underwriting operations.
• Responsibilities include coordinating dynamic machine learning models to increase the intelligence of their policy management solution.
• The engineer will optimize the application’s architecture and observability to meet performance and reliability demands.
• Daily tasks include designing and implementing client-facing and internal APIs, orchestrating data flows between backend systems, creating and managing database schemas, building automated test suites, and deploying, monitoring, and maintaining key product features.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience is required.
• Candidates should have 3-5 years of experience in a full stack or backend role.
• Professional experience with Go is necessary.
• Experience in building high-performance client/server systems is required.
• A good grasp of service-oriented architecture patterns is essential.
• Prior experience designing and using relational databases is needed.
• Strong communication skills and effective cross-functional collaboration abilities are important.
• A bias towards action is expected from candidates.

• The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $150,000 to $200,000, determined by the candidate's skills and experience.
