A Place for Mom is seeking a Contract Software Engineer with expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and MongoDB for a 3–6 month engagement.
The position is remote, but candidates must be located in the United States or Canada.
The start date for this role is ASAP, and it is targeted at senior-level engineers.
The engineer will contribute to key backend services that power the senior care recommendation platform.
Responsibilities include developing and maintaining backend services, interfacing with the existing .NET ecosystem, collaborating with product and engineering teams, writing clean and well-documented code, participating in code reviews, and contributing to deployment and monitoring efforts.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5-7 years of experience in full-stack or backend software development.
Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js is required.
Recent experience working with MongoDB is necessary.
Familiarity with .NET and the ability to work within an existing C# codebase is essential.
