Requirements:

  • Candidates should have 5+ years of experience designing and scaling ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • Experience in building data stacks from scratch or overhauling complex legacy systems is required.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL is essential, with additional knowledge in Java, Scala, or Go being a bonus.
  • Hands-on experience with orchestration tools like Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect, and streaming technologies such as Kafka or Kinesis is necessary.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing solutions like Snowflake or BigQuery, and cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is required.
  • Experience managing search engines (Elasticsearch) and vector stores (Pinecone, Weaviate) is essential.
  • Knowledge of ML/AI fundamentals, including embeddings and model ops, is preferred.
  • A passion for clean code, observability, data quality, and security is important.
