Requirements:

  • Candidates should have 3–8 years of professional software development experience, primarily in backend development.
  • Experience programming in Go or a strong interest and ability to learn it is required.
  • Familiarity with designing and consuming RESTful APIs is necessary.
  • An understanding of experimentation methodologies (e.g., A/B testing) and interest in data-informed development is expected.
  • A solid grasp of software engineering principles, design patterns, and coding best practices is essential.
  • Exposure to building or maintaining scalable, production-grade systems is required.
  • Familiarity with observability practices and tools (e.g., logging, metrics, monitoring) is necessary.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with a team-oriented mindset are essential.
  • Candidates should be comfortable working in Agile development environments.
  • Experience with CI/CD practices and tools is required.
  • A passion for writing high-quality code and continuously improving engineering practices is necessary.
  • A self-motivated approach and willingness to take initiative are expected.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment is essential.
  • Prior experience working with or contributing to distributed teams is a plus.

Benefits:

  • The target pay ranges based on Geographic Zones for Level P3 are as follows: Zone 1 (San Francisco/Bay Area or New York City Metropolitan Area: $167,000 - $229,000), Zone 2 (Boston, DC, Irvine, LA, Monterey, Santa Barbara, Santa Rosa, Seattle: $150,000 - $206,000), and Zone 3 (All other US locations: $141,000 - $195,000).
