Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Payment Systems Engineer to help build out their new B2B credit card issuing platform.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive payment processing infrastructure to support integrations with multiple banks and credit card providers.
Key responsibilities include developing a secure, PCI DSS compliant internal ledger system to manage credit card transactions.
You will integrate with various bank and credit card APIs to enable card issuance and processing.
It is essential to ensure the platform meets all necessary regulatory and compliance requirements.
You will work closely with the existing engineering team to seamlessly integrate the new payment system.
The role also involves providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
You are expected to deliver the initial payment system within a 2-3 month timeframe.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience building payment processing or financial technology systems.
Expertise in back-end development is required, ideally with experience in Node.js.
A deep understanding of credit card processing, PCI compliance, and banking integrations is necessary.
The ability to work independently and drive projects to completion is essential.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are required.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities are a must.
