Remote Backend Engineer (Nodejs/Typescript)

Requirements:

• The candidate must have at least 4 years of experience as a Backend Engineer or in a similar role.
• Solid experience with Node.js and TypeScript is required.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and best practices in API design is necessary.
• Experience with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc.) is essential.
• Familiarity with unit and integration testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, Chai, or similar is required.
• Knowledge of version control using Git is necessary.
• The candidate should have experience in implementing scalable solutions and performance optimization.
• Strong soft skills are required, including the ability to work independently and collaboratively, a proactive attitude towards problem-solving, clear communication skills in English and Spanish, attention to detail, and the ability to write clean and maintainable code.
