• Articul8 AI is seeking an exceptional Product/Software Engineer-Backend to join in shaping the future of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI).
• The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining backend software and infrastructure for GenAI-powered products.
• Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and improving scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems.
• The engineer will be the subject matter expert in infrastructure for new product designs and technology introductions.
• Collaboration with engineering and research teams is essential to integrate infrastructure components with product features.
• The position requires designing event-driven architectures and developing APIs and microservices for real-time processing and analytics.
• Ensuring system reliability, performance, and scalability through monitoring, logging, and error handling mechanisms is crucial.
• Staying updated with emerging trends and technologies to enhance infrastructure capabilities is expected.
• Participation in code reviews, contributing to open-source projects, and mentoring junior engineers are part of the role.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and backend software development is required.
• A BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is mandatory.
• Preferred qualifications include experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Proficiency in programming languages and development tools including Python, Node.js, Go, Ruby, CI/CD pipelines, and version control is preferred.
• Familiarity with frameworks like Django, Flask, OpenAPI, FastAPI, Spring Boot, and Express.js is advantageous.
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis is desired.
• Knowledge of API management techniques including REST and GraphQL is beneficial.
• Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker Swarm is preferred.
• A Master’s or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields is a plus.
