The CVP team works on cloud-based streaming telemetry services and applications, specifically CloudVision, which is Arista’s enterprise network management and streaming telemetry SaaS offering.

The core infrastructure of CloudVision is a scale-out distributed system that provides real-time and historical access to the full network state, along with frameworks for building advanced analytics.
The platform is written in Go and utilizes open-source technologies such as Hbase, ClickHouse, ElasticSearch, Kafka, Kubernetes, Ambassador, and Zookeeper.
The role involves building device management and network analytics applications to automate enterprise networks, including CI/CD pipelines for network automation and advanced analytics for network assurance.
As a backend software engineer, you will own your project end to end, collaborating with product management and customers to define requirements and design architecture.
You will build the backend, write automated tests, and deploy it into production via the CD pipeline.
Requirements:
A BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or relevant experience is required.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in one or more programming languages such as Go, C, C++, Java, or similar languages is necessary.
Experience with network monitoring, network protocols, distributed systems, machine learning, or data analytics is considered a plus.
