Description:

  • You will directly help shape the digital experiences that power our HR lifecycle — from performance to engagement and beyond.
  • Reporting into People Analytics Product Development Lead, you'll architect and maintain scalable, secure backend services that underpin our custom applications.
  • While the main focus is backend development, your TypeScript skills will allow you to collaborate across the stack, influencing frontend integrations, APIs, and developer tooling.
  • Develop backend services using TypeScript and JavaScript.
  • Collaborate with frontend and platform teams to deliver end-to-end features.
  • Create Docker containers and support Kubernetes-based deployments.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins.
  • Develop infrastructure using AWS.
  • Improve backend systems for performance and reliability, including legacy codebase debugging.
  • Work with both relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL and MongoDB) to design efficient data models and queries.
  • Participate in code reviews, version control workflows (Git), and enforce coding best practices.
  • Contribute to observability through logging and monitoring tools.
  • Support integration and configuration of headless CMS platforms.

Requirements:

  • Around 3 years of backend development experience with emphasis on TypeScript.
  • Demonstrated experience with containerized environments and modern CI/CD practices.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS deployment and infrastructure scaling.
  • Background in data-driven systems using PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, infrastructure automation, and monitoring tools.
  • JavaScript experience.
  • Create/manage Dockerfiles, container orchestration, and Kubernetes familiarity.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, and load balancers in service architecture.
  • Use Git workflows, PRs, versioning, and conflict resolution.
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
  • Jenkins familiarity, CI troubleshooting, test & deploy pipelines.
  • Following will be an advantage: Experience with headless CMS tools like Directus or Strapi, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, Terraform-based environment setup, and system monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana.
