Requirements:

  • Candidates must have demonstrated experience developing models at production scale for basketball or sports betting.
  • Expertise in Probability Theory, Machine Learning, Inferential Statistics, Bayesian Statistics, and Markov Chain Monte Carlo methods is essential.
  • A minimum of 4+ years of experience in developing and delivering effective machine learning and/or statistical models for sports or sports betting is required.
  • Proficiency in relational SQL and Python is necessary.
  • Experience with source control tools such as GitHub and related CI/CD processes is required.
  • Familiarity with AWS environments is expected.
  • A proven track record of strong leadership skills and the ability to partner with teams to solve complex problems is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences are required.

Benefits:

  • The base salary for this position ranges from $120,000 to $175,000, depending on experience and encompasses multiple levels.
