Gypsy is looking for a BI Analyst focused on a deep understanding of key business metrics, their continuous monitoring, and explaining changes.
This role does not include engineering or ETL responsibilities; the main focus is on analytical thinking, interpreting trends, and communication with business teams.
The key responsibilities include daily/weekly tracking of key company KPIs such as revenue, conversion, retention, DAU/WAU/MAU, churn, and ARPU.
The analyst will identify anomalies, trends, seasonality, and drops in metrics, and analyze metric changes to determine what changed, when, why, and what to do next.
The role involves generating hypotheses about changes in user behavior, business performance, or marketing campaigns, and collaborating with product, marketing, and finance teams to find correlations and causes.
The analyst will conduct ad hoc analyses to answer questions like “Why did retention drop?” and “Which segments drove the revenue shift?”
Visualization and insight communication are essential, including working with Tableau dashboards and preparing analytical summaries and reports.
The analyst will partner with product, marketing, CRM, and VIP departments as an analytical advisor, understanding which metrics matter to which department and their impact on revenue.
