Requirements:
The candidate must familiarize and assist with reporting related to compliance, regulatory, financial, business, and marketing functions.
The role involves assisting in the company's certification goals in new jurisdictions by understanding and mapping regulator's requirements to available data.
The candidate should build reusable jurisdictional reports and automate data send-outs as needed.
Technical contributions to data preparation, transformation, visualization, and delivery are required.
Familiarity with the existing data lake infrastructure and assisting in its improvement is necessary.
The candidate must assist with ad hoc investigations of data discrepancies and perform reconciliation with external data sources.
Troubleshooting issues related to incorrect reporting data and fixing the source of these issues is essential.
The role includes assisting with improvements to the overall data platform, including ETL transformations and schema changes.
The candidate should liaise with internal teams about data and reporting requirements and identify the best methods to access and transform data.
Improvements to existing reports and implementation of new reports to address reporting requirements are expected.
Experience with BI report building tools, ideally AWS QuickSight or similar, is required.
Strong knowledge of SQL is necessary.
Familiarity with the gaming sector and knowledge of reporting requirements for different jurisdictions is preferred.
The candidate should be familiar with command line tools and scripting/development in bash and TypeScript.
Knowledge of software development practices/standards, ideally git and gitlab pipelines, is required.
Basic AWS knowledge is necessary.
A willingness to grow and learn is essential.
