insightsoftware is seeking a Bilingual Senior Solutions Engineer to support the LATAM sales team, reporting directly to the Director of Solutions Engineering.
This position will focus on pre-sales support, technical discovery, and product demonstrations for the data and analytics product portfolio.
The ideal candidate is fluent in Spanish and English, experienced in Power BI and SQL, and comfortable working directly with customers to scope, design, and demonstrate solutions.
This is a remote-based role with up to 40% travel across Latin America.
Primary responsibilities include building deep expertise in analytics and reporting solutions, partnering with LATAM-based account executives, delivering engaging product demonstrations, guiding prospects through discovery and design processes, assisting in technical portions of RFP responses, and sharing field insights with Product, Services, and Engineering.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, Engineering, or a related field is required.
A minimum of 3 years in a customer-facing role such as sales engineering, analytics consulting, or pre-sales is required.
Strong proficiency with Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and dashboard development is required.
Advanced SQL capabilities, including complex queries, stored procedures, and triggers are required.
Fluency in Spanish and English (both written and verbal) is required.
Comfortable presenting to technical and non-technical stakeholders and able to simplify complex concepts is required.
Ability to conduct effective discovery sessions, translate use cases into technical specs, and craft persuasive demo narratives is required.
Preferred qualifications include experience supporting analytics or reporting software in a B2B environment, familiarity with Snowflake or similar cloud-based data platforms, exposure to PowerON or write-back planning tools within Power BI, professional proficiency in Portuguese, experience with SaaS, financial reporting, or EPM/ERP software, and understanding of LATAM business environments and enterprise customer dynamics.
